US Climate Trends

Analyzing the Impact of Global Warming Across American Cities

Welcome to GlobalWarmingCities.com!

This project began with a simple curiosity: how is climate change affecting the places we live, and how can we visualize these trends in a way that's accessible to everyone? Starting in Denver, where I live, I gathered historical climate data from trusted sources like NOAA and the National Weather Service (NWS), and soon expanded the project to include other major US cities.

Below, you'll find an interactive map showing the latest calculated temperature trends for each city. Click on any city to explore detailed charts and statistics, including average temperatures, record highs and lows, and precipitation patterns over the years.

My goal is to make climate data easy to understand and visually engaging, so you can quickly see how your city—and others—are changing over time. Whether you're a student, a researcher, or just curious about climate trends, I hope you find these resources helpful and informative.
